In July 2003, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, followed by surgery and radiation therapy. I was worried about radiation because I have very sensitive skin. That’s when I turned to April for Reiki treatments several times a week throughout my 6 ½ weeks of radiation. Thanks to these sessions, I healed normally and was calm throughout…not my normal state-of-mind, so a remarkable achievement. I continue going to April for monthly Reiki ‘tune ups’ to this day. She is deeply caring, committed, and a gifted Reiki practitioner, T’ai Chi Chih instructor, and friend. I’m happy to have this chance to say ‘thank you’.
