The words ‘moving meditation’ in April’s T’ai Chi Chih ad in our town newspaper grabbed me. I have fibromyalgia and had tried yoga and it was too difficult for me. This sounded perfect and it was. I was finally moving and once you learn the moves (accomplished in about 8 weeks), it is, in fact, very meditative. A small group of us stayed on for over a year because we enjoyed each other’s company and the sessions were so beneficial. I can now do it at home and it’s an important tool in my continuous effort to take care of myself.
